The Entrepreneurs Network is the think tank for Britain’s most ambitious entrepreneurs. Over the last decade we’ve built a network of well over 10,000 founders, who we support by:
Publishing cutting-edge research on the best policies to foster entrepreneurship;
Campaigning for reforms that help businesses start, scale and succeed;
Hosting events that connect entrepreneurs with policymakers;
Keeping founders informed on how policy changes affect them;
Championing the role of entrepreneurs in the media and public debate.
We also serve as the Secretariat of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Entrepreneurship, ensuring Parliament stays closely informed about how to create the best possible environment for entrepreneurs to succeed.
What We Believe
A hallmark of humanity is our desire to solve problems. When we do that through markets — by creating new goods, services and ways of doing things — we call it entrepreneurship.
Entrepreneurship is one of the most powerful engines of productivity and progress. Throughout history, entrepreneurial ventures have transformed societies, lifting people from subsistence to prosperity.
It is entrepreneurs who pioneer new ideas, create jobs and drive the breakthroughs that raise living standards — not just for today, but for generations to come. Supporting and nurturing entrepreneurship is essential to ensuring that we live healthier, happier and more meaningful lives.
But progress doesn’t happen by accident. It is shaped by the choices made every day by entrepreneurs and by those who support them — their teams, mentors, investors, and the wider ecosystem.
And while the entrepreneurial impulse may be innate, the extent to which it flourishes depends on the environment around it. Entrepreneurs need the right laws, regulations, institutions, incentives, infrastructure, talent, capital and culture to thrive.
